 MC Air Rental LLC is being reorganized as MC Flying Club Inc. MC Flying Club is being set-up as a non-profit corporation to promote general aviation. As a flying club the cost to insure an airplane is much less and makes it more economical to keep an airplane at Mifflin County airport for pilots who do not own their own airplane.
MC Flying Club is currently looking for new members.

How cool the two of you could solo on the same day.  REEDSVILLE - Area residents joined members of the Mifflin Soaring Association on Sunday to witness the groundbreaking for a new facility to be built at the Mifflin County Airport.
The facility, which is expected to be completed by May 2011, will allow for the newly founded organization to setup office space for the annual soaring contest and room to hold instructional flight classes, Mifflin Soaring Association President John Good said during the ceremony. He also said it will provide additional bathing facilities to the airport as well as needed storage space. Read full article at Lewistown Sentinel. He is looking for student pilots to start training out of the Mifflin County Airport. He also flies the jump plane for Skydive Happy Valley.
